Survey, surveillance and general charter airline RVL Group has added
three turbine powered Cessna F406 freighters to its fleet.
The three additional aircraft are now undergoing maintenance work prior to being added to RVL’s AOC from early September. The aircraft, which can carry freight and passengers, are
equipped with cargo baggage pods and are capable of up to 1.5t total payload. RVL Group will utilise them on its existing portfolio of
long term contracts as well as making them available
to the ad hoc charter market.
David Connor, Commercial Operations Director, said: “Our many years experience in operating this aircraft type means that the addition of 3 more Cessna F406 aircraft gives us a quick,
easy and cost-effective increase in capacity which allows us to make a compelling offer to current and potential customers.”
RVL Aviation, part of the RVL Group, is a specialist aviation services provider headquartered at East Midlands Airport, UK.
The company owns a large fleet of Cessna twin aircraft that are configured in a variety of roles generally deployed on long term contract with public and private sector organisations which include aerial surveillance for the likes of Ordnance Survey, the Environment Agency and Her Majesty’s Coastguard.
RVL is a one-stop shop for ad-hoc cargo charter, maintenance, operational support, handling, fuelling and fleet management.
