I.A.M. Jet Centres of the Caribbean has now added its Barbados, Grenada and Tortola FBOs to its certification under the IS-BAH programme - the international standard for safety, service
and operations best practices in the business aviation ground handling industry.
"Our headquarters jet centre in Barbados, along with Grenada and Tortola join our Montego Bay facility as the first FBOs in the Caribbean and Latin America to achieve this challenging
and demanding designation by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC)," says Group Managing Director
Paul Worrell.
"I.A.M. Jet Centre has always been known as a pioneer in the development of world class FBO service across the Caribbean, and as we begin our 28th year of operation, we are
extremely proud of the high service standards, attention to detail and everyday focus on best practice that our IS-BAH registration affirms."
Group Operations Manager, Donna
Goddard, notes that, "the four flagship FBOs owned and operated by
I.A.M. are among only about 20 worldwide to have achieved IS-BAH registration
so far. That number will continue to grow in coming years as flight departments operating under
IS-BAO, and the flight service companies that support them, increasingly seek to work with
FBOs that meet this international standard. The presence of an IS-BAH certified FBO also enhances the industry reputation of the wider airport and enhances it's marketability."
