growth and innovation

Jet Aviation is celebrating 40 years of business aviation excellence in the United States, highlighting decades of service expansion and announcing new developments across its operations, including growth in its aircraft management and charter fleet, enhancements to its digital staffing platform, and the 40th anniversary of its Palm Beach, Florida, facility.

Jet Aviation Flight Services celebrates 40 years

Jet Aviation Flight Services (JAFS), the company’s US aircraft management and charter division, marks its 40th anniversary this year. Established in 1985 and expanded with the acquisition of Executive Air Fleet in 1988, JAFS today manages a diverse fleet of aircraft across the United States under its Part 91, Part 125, and Part 135 certificates.

“From our beginning in 1985 to the global network we are part of today, we are proud of the legacy and expertise that define Jet Aviation Flight Services,” said David Dalpiaz, vice president, flight services in the Americas. “Our growth reflects the dedication of our team and our commitment to providing a seamless, integrated experience for every aircraft owner and charter customer.”

“These 40 years have been made possible by our team’s passion and dedication,” said Leslie Cheshier, vice president, owner and charter services in the Americas. “We take pride in delivering flexible, reliable, and safe service with personalized support at every step.”

Palm Beach FBO marks 40 years of service excellence

Jet Aviation also celebrates the 40th anniversary of its FBO at Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). Established in 1985, the Palm Beach facility began with two hangars and a dedicated terminal and has since grown to include six hangars, a 42,000-square-foot FBO complex, and 200,000 square feet of shared tarmac alongside a Gulfstream maintenance facility.

The Palm Beach FBO continues to receive industry recognition, recently ranking fifth in AIN’s Annual FBO Survey’s Top Rated FBOs in the Americas with an overall score of 4.75 out of 5.

“Our teams are dedicated to providing an effortless FBO experience from touchdown to takeoff,” said Matt Feinstein, vice president, FBO operations, EHS & security in the Americas. “Their commitment to operational excellence and safety is the foundation of our success.”

The company announced the addition of 22 new aircraft to its US managed and charter fleet, including 10 available for charter under the company’s Part 135 certificate. The expansion strengthens Jet Aviation’s ability to meet growing customer demand with a diverse fleet ranging from mid-size to ultra-long-range business jets.

“We are proud to see continuous momentum in our managed and charter offerings,” said Dalpiaz. “The ongoing growth of our fleet is a testament to the trust our customers place in us, and we are honored to be their partner of choice.”

“With each new addition, we are expanding the choices available to our customers and ensuring we can meet their needs wherever and whenever they fly,” added Cheshier.

Staffing Marketplace enhancements support industry growth

Jet Aviation continues to advance its digital capabilities with new updates to its Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace, the company’s centralized online staffing platform connecting operators and aviation professionals.

Since its 2023 launch, the platform has undergone 45 enhancements, including biometric login for iOS, improved mobile functionality, enhanced job tracking and notifications, and integrated access through Avianis software.
