JDA announces dates for Regulatory Affairs Training Course
JDA Aviation Technology Solutions (JDA) will holds its one-of-a-kind regulatory affairs training course in Dallas, Texas at the American Airlines Training Center DFW April 7- 8, 2015, with a focus on expanding of knowledge about FAA regulatory affairs for air carrier, manufacturer and repair station certificate holders.

The two-day session will be led by a former career FAA principal inspector and a former FAA Chief Counsel who will provide recommended practices through real-life examples from their experiences at the FAA and as private industry consultants.

This highly interactive training will ensure that attendees are knowledgeable about:

  • The FAA Flight Standards organization as well as Flight Standards District Office (FSDO)/Certificate Management Office (CMO) inspector duties, responsibilities, authority, limitations and acceptable conduct.
  • FAA guidance, including FAA regulations, handbooks, policies, procedures, websites, and other materials.
  • FAA’s compliance, investigative and enforcement process, and how to review and respond to an FAA Letter of Investigation (LOI).
  • The importance of and methods to document communications with FAA personnel.
