ExecuJet Middle East expands DWC FBO
ExecuJet Middle East, part of the ExecuJet Aviation Group, has opened an expanded FBO lounge in Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central, to support the expected increase in traffic to the facility over the coming months.

The runways closure at Dubai International Airport from May 1-July 20 means all GA traffic is being redirected to Al Maktoum International Airport during this period. ExecuJet Middle East’s purpose-built 200m² FBO facility is located next to the GA terminal and includes a VVIP passenger lounge, crew lounge, washrooms and showers.

Mark Hardman, Operations Director, ExecuJet Middle East says: “We are delighted our FBO lounge extension at Al Maktoum International Airport is now operational, as the facility enables ExecuJet Middle East to offer the same high levels of service currently provided at Dubai International Airport.”

The FBO facility joins ExecuJet’s line station at Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport, which offers additional maintenance support during Dubai International Airport’s runways closure.

ExecuJet Middle East’s award-winning FBO at Dubai International Airport is the largest dedicated business aviation terminal in the Middle East.

ExecuJet and Rolls-Royce expand engine service agreement

ExecuJet Aviation Group and Rolls-Royce have signed engine service agreements authorising ExecuJet Service Centres in China, Malaysia, South Africa, Nigeria and Australia to perform engine line maintenance, removals and installations on Rolls-Royce BR710 engines.

Rolls-Royce and ExecuJet Middle East signed an initial engine service agreement in 2012 authorising the Dubai ExecuJet Service Centre to perform engine line maintenance, removals and installations on Rolls-Royce BR710 and AE 3007A engines.

Nick Weber, Maintenance Director, ExecuJet Middle East, said: “ExecuJet Middle East’s partnership with Rolls-Royce has been very successful and has enabled us to offer an enhanced level of service to our customers using our Dubai facility. We are delighted to extend our agreement, which demonstrates the ongoing trust Rolls-Royce puts in ExecuJet Service Centres. We look forward to our continuing partnership which will be of significant benefit to our customers.”

Andy Robinson, Senior Vice President of Services & Customer Support, Rolls-Royce, Civil Small & Medium Engines, said: “Expanding the current ExecuJet agreement to include China, Malaysia, South Africa, Nigeria and Australia is a welcome and valuable addition to the Rolls-Royce Authorised Service Centre network and compliments our global footprint in the areas that continue to grow. These additional service centres will enhance the level of service we provide to our CorporateCare customers in these regions and increase customer convenience by providing maintenance, inspections, and parts sales directly to our operators through ExecuJet.”

Gerrit Basson, Chief Operating Officer, ExecuJet Aviation Group, says: “We see our customers benefiting from our global services approach, by being supported globally by a true 24/7 support centre where best industry practices can readily be adopted because of the scale of ExecuJet’s operations worldwide.”
