YASAVA Solutions SA, a joint venture between YASAVA Aeronautics and MCM Designstudio, has been created to offer innovative solutions in sustainable luxury for the aviation and transportation sector, based on intelligent ergonomics and socio-cultural design parameters.

At EBACE in Geneva next week, YASAVA Solutions will introduce the ASTRAL™ Design Series, a new aircraft interior concept for classic ultra-long range corporate jets.

Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, the company is strategically placed to continue the traditions of renowned Swiss high tech luxury companies and intends to be a leader in developing new ways to enhance luxury and efficiency while respecting individual uniqueness and integrating principles of sustainability.

Studies have shown that the largest drivers of growth in this sector over the next 10 to 20 years will be based in the emerging markets, led by the BRIC countries. With over 9,000 new corporate aircraft expected to be built between 2013-2021 period, and over 14,000 new corporate aircraft predicted for the period between 2021-2031, this represents a potential market of over $600bn US over the next 20 years.

The Astral™ Design Series is a patent-pending modular design with dedicated zones for office, dining and relaxation, with several unique advantages. Some of these include:

The first of the Astral™ Design Series are available for Bombardier Globals, Gulfstream G650 and Falcon 7x aircraft, and can be applied to new as well as qualifying pre-owned aircraft. Certain aspects of the Astral TM Design Series will be available for smaller cabin aircraft such as Challenger 605/850 and Falcon 900/2000 series.

The aïana™ VVIP seat and aï-zen™ 'Jewel' - a high-tech wireless seat control

As part of the ASTRAL™ Design Series, YASAVA will also display aïana™, a 16g fully electric VVIP seat that converts into a full flat bed, and aï-zen™, a patent-pending customizable handheld jewel that functions as a wireless seat control. The patent-pending aïana™ is not only the first fully electrical 16g seat that offers full tracking and swivel capability, it is also the first seat that provides variable width for the passenger. This allows for an optimized width while seated and an increased width in the full flat position, resulting in a comfortable 2m full flat bed. aïana™ offers a very high degree of customization in both design features and materials. The unique shell allows a variety of designs and incorporates internal mood lighting. aïana™ is designed to be used in classic ultra-long range aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650, Falcon 7X, Global 6/7/8000, as well as in larger aircraft such as the Embraer Lineage, ACJ and BBJ. Based on the on-going certification program, the first aïana™ units are expected to be available within the next 11 months.
