Orlando, FloridaSignature Aviation introduces simplified FBO pricing |
Signature Aviation has introduced Signature Access, a new pricing structure designed to give business aviation operators clearer, more predictable costs when using its facilities.
The scheme combines core access charges into a single price based on aircraft size, time on the ramp and terminal location. At participating locations in the continental US, eligible fuel purchases qualify for a waiver of the first hour’s access charge.
Optional services, including hangar accommodation, ground power units (GPU) and lavatory services, are charged separately.
"We are grateful to the guests and operators whose perspectives helped shape Signature Access," said Derek DeCross, Chief Commercial Officer, Signature Aviation. "Their feedback was instrumental in creating a clearer, more predictable pricing approach that gives guests greater visibility, flexibility and control. It also reflects our broader commitment to listening, innovating, and investing in an exceptional guest experience.”

Signature Access is already available at selected locations, with a phased rollout planned over the coming months. An online estimator at signatureaviation.com/signature-access allows operators to check anticipated costs before arrival.
Signature is also changing its Event Fee policy. From 2027, fees are expected to apply only to a limited number of high-demand events, with affected locations and prices published at least 30 days in advance.
Planned events include Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles, the College Football Playoff National Championship in Las Vegas, Art Basel Miami Beach, the US Open and UN General Assembly in New York, and selected Formula 1 weekends.
The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) have welcomed the focus on pricing transparency, while emphasising the importance of fair and clear charges for operators and pilots.
NBAA Acting COO Dan Hubbard said, “Transparency in all aspects of operations, including FBO pricing, is of paramount importance to FBO customers. Having clear, upfront information about pricing and services allows operators to plan ahead and make informed decisions well before an aircraft arrives at an FBO.
"With this new initiative, Signature Aviation appears to be taking a step toward the transparency that our operator members demand. We will continue reviewing the program and look forward to additional feedback from operators after it has been fully implemented.”
