Air Charter Service sees strong European performance

The European offices of leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, are enjoying an impressive year, with charter numbers increasing by 47% year-on-year.

Andrew Summers, ACS’s Regional Director for Europe, commented: “Our offices across Mainland Europe have done exceptionally well so far this year, with the 47% increase partially down to our new offices, along with expanding our existing teams across the continent.

"We have opened in several new locations in the past 12 months - including Brussels, Stuttgart, Monaco and Barcelona - all of which have hit the ground running, making big initial inroads. Our revenue has risen by an incredible 86%, to almost €130m, in the first six months of the year; in part due some big contracts on larger aircraft types.

“Every region within our European network has achieved better results than last year, with strong performances from our German and Spanish offices and a better-than-expected return from our Italian office, in its first full year of trading. We are particularly pleased with the increase in market share from our French-speaking business, which we target from our offices in Paris, Geneva, Brussels and Monaco, with it significantly growing, by 49% year-on-year.

"Some of these offices have had their figures slightly boosted by factors such as the World Cup, supply chain disruptions caused by the conflict in Iran, and a few Middle East evacuations in March, but underlying growth is still very strong, and way above the European average of 3% for the same period (according to WingX figures).

“We expect this success to continue for the rest of the year as, part way through our Q3, all offices are still seeing significantly higher charter volumes year-on-year.”

ACS picks up top industry prize at the Air Charter Excellence Awards

On 8th October Air Charter Service picked up The Air Charter Association’s award for Charter Operators’ Broker of the Year at the Air Charter Excellence Awards 2026, at a gala ceremony in West London.

Joe Gallimore, ACS’s Deputy Group Private Jets Director, who accepted the award on behalf of the company said: “As a charter consultancy our job is to forge strong relationships with operators, in order to deliver the best solutions to our customers. We work closely with many members of the Air Charter Association, and we can’t do our job without them. That is why this award means so much - it’s a great feeling knowing that you have fully earnt the respect and recognition of your suppliers.

“Aviation is a people business, and for each charter flight that we do, we like to think that we form part of the operator’s team, in order to make them happen. We arranged more than 35,000 flights last year, booking with around 1,400 operators and dealing with thousands more, so we put a lot of time into our relationships with everyone involved, which is another reason why this is award is special. It is a true testament to all our teams around the world and the hard work that they put into every charter.

“We had members of our private jet, group charter and cargo teams at the event, as the Air Charter Association’s awards evening is always a great opportunity to connect with friends old and new, across the whole air charter industry.”

* Air Charter Service won the ‘Charter Operators’ Broker of the Year - Enterprise’, which was specifically for company’s with more than 25 staff, there was also a broker award for smaller companies.
