ExecuJet Auckland becomes New Zealand’s first IS-BAH Stage I FBO

ExecuJet, part of the Luxaviation Group, has announced that its FBO facility in Auckland (NZAA) is the first in New Zealand to achieve International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) Stage I accreditation, following a successful audit in July 2026.

The accreditation comes as ExecuJet continues to strengthen its FBO presence across Asia-Pacific. Sydney and Melbourne achieved IS-BAH Stage III accreditation in 2023. Earlier this year, ExecuJet was also appointed sole FBO operator at Sydney International Airport.

Feedback from the audit highlighted the professionalism of the Auckland operation and the maturity of its supporting systems.

Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group, says: “Achieving IS-BAH Stage I accreditation in Auckland as the first FBO in New Zealand to do so is a recognition of the standards we apply across ExecuJet. Safety remains fundamental to how we operate, and standards such as IS-BAH are key to maintaining consistency across our global FBO network.”

The accreditation marks the first step towards ExecuJet Auckland’s longer-term objective of achieving Stage III.

IS-BAH is a globally recognised safety standard specifically for FBOs, with accreditation issued by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). The standard focuses on risk management, safety culture and the ongoing development of operational best practices.
