Jet Aviation to anchor new aviation campus at Rocky Mountain
Metropolitan Airport

Jet Aviation is set to expand its presence in the US business aviation market as the anchor FBO for a major new aviation campus at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (RMMA) in Broomfield, Colorado.

SR Aviation Infrastructure (SRAI), a subsidiary of SomeraRoad, has announced a partnership with Business Aviation Group (BA Group) to develop the first phase of what is planned to become a premier aviation campus serving the rapidly growing Denver-Boulder region.

Upon completion, the new facility will be leased and operated by Jet Aviation, further strengthening the company’s global network and presence in key business aviation markets.

The initial development, known as SRAI Rocky Mountain, will include a 7,500-square-foot FBO terminal and approximately 70,000 square feet of hangar space designed to accommodate a wide range of business aircraft. The project is expected to serve as the cornerstone of broader aviation development on the airport’s south side, creating a new gateway for private and corporate aviation activity in Colorado.

For Jet Aviation, the facility represents a strategic addition to its worldwide network of approximately 30 FBO locations, including 12 across the United States. Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport’s location - just 18 miles from downtown Denver and within easy reach of premier mountain destinations such as Aspen and Vail - makes it an increasingly important hub for both domestic and international travelers.

“Rocky Mountain Airport continues to grow as a key hub for our US and international customers,” said David Best, Senior Vice President Regional Operations and General Manager Americas at Jet Aviation. “Its proximity to both the city and surrounding ski destinations makes it an attractive location, and this new facility will enable us to provide seamless connections and the personalized service our customers expect.”

Best added that Jet Aviation is committed to delivering a world-class FBO that reflects the company’s focus on safety, operational excellence, and premium customer experience.

SRAI President Jonathon Reeser noted that partnering with Jet Aviation aligns with the company’s strategy of investing alongside leading aviation operators in high-growth markets. The airport’s strong demand fundamentals and limited hangar availability create a compelling opportunity for long-term development.

As the anchor tenant, Jet Aviation is expected to play a central role in shaping the future of aviation activity at RMMA, helping establish the airport’s south side as a premier destination for business aviation while supporting continued growth across Colorado’s Front Range.
