RTS awarded FAA Part 145 Repair Station Certification ahead of launch

Reynolds Technical Services (RTS), an affiliate of Reynolds Jet, has received the Federal Aviation Administration Part 145 Repair Station Certification, a significant milestone that expands the organization’s maintenance capabilities and opens its services to public and third-party aircraft operators for the first time.

Based at Cincinnati Municipal Airport/Lunken Field (KLUK), RTS supports Reynolds Jet’s internal fleet and managed aircraft operations. With the addition of FAA Part 145 certification, RTS is now authorized to provide maintenance, inspection, and repair services to external aircraft owners and operators under the FAA’s rigorous standards and oversight.

In addition to its Cincinnati-based operations, RTS also offers nationwide Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support through its dedicated AOG response team and fully equipped AOG service van, allowing technicians to respond quickly to maintenance needs and unscheduled events across the country.

“This certification represents the hard work, professionalism, and dedication of our maintenance team,” said John Carter, Vice President of Maintenance for Reynolds Jet and RTS.

“Achieving Part 145 status validates the systems, training, and quality standards we have built over the years while allowing us to extend those capabilities to customers outside of our internal operation. Combined with our mobile AOG capabilities, we are positioned to provide responsive, high-quality support wherever our customers need us.”

The certification process involved extensive evaluation of RTS facilities, technical personnel, operational procedures, training programs, and quality assurance systems. Receiving FAA approval positions RTS to provide expanded maintenance support while continuing to deliver responsive, customer-focused aviation solutions grounded in safety and reliability.

James Murray, President and CEO of Reynolds Jet, emphasized the strategic importance of the certification and the opportunity it creates for future growth: “This certification is a major achievement for Reynolds Technical Services and an important step forward,” he said. “For years, our maintenance operation has supported our internal fleet with exceptional standards of safety and performance. We are excited to bring that same level of expertise and service to the broader aviation community while continuing to deliver on our promise: The Difference Delivered.”

The addition of FAA Part 145 certification further enhances the Reynolds family of aviation companies and supports its long-term vision of providing comprehensive aviation services with an unwavering focus on safety, operational excellence, and customer experience.
