Embraer soars to record Q1 as business jet revenues jump 30%

Embraer reported the strongest first quarter in its history, with revenues reaching US$1.4bn in Q1 2026, up 31% year-over-year, driven by solid performance across its business units and continued momentum in Business Aviation.

Executive Jets was one of the highlights of the quarter, generating US$418m in revenue, a 30% increase compared with the first quarter of 2025. The growth was supported by higher aircraft delivery volumes and a stronger product mix, reinforcing Embraer’s position in the global business aviation market.

The company also continued to benefit from steady demand for its Phenom and Praetor aircraft families, as operators and corporate customers maintain focus on fleet modernization and operational flexibility.

Services & Support also delivered another strong quarter, with revenues increasing 15% year-over-year to US$490m, driven by higher activity levels across all business segments.

Embraer reported adjusted EBIT of US$94m for the quarter, resulting in a 6.5% margin, compared with 5.6% in the same period last year, reflecting ongoing operational efficiency initiatives. Adjusted net income totaled US$27.7m.

The company invested US$98.8m during the quarter, compared with US$88.2m in the first quarter of 2025. Including investments in Eve Air Mobility, total investments reached US$148.6m.

Aircraft deliveries also showed significant improvement. Embraer delivered 44 aircraft during the quarter, up 47% from the 30 aircraft delivered in the same period a year earlier, reflecting progress in production stabilization and supply chain execution.

The company’s backlog reached US$32.1bn, up 22% year-over-year and marking Embraer’s sixth consecutive all-time high backlog. The result underscores continued demand across commercial, defense, services, and particularly business aviation markets.

With sustained demand for light and midsize business jets, increasing aftermarket activity, and ongoing operational improvements, Embraer entered 2026 with strong momentum and one of the healthiest order books in its history.
