Fort Lauderdale, Florida

IsraJets launches IsraFly and acquires first aircraft, marking expansion into
flight operations

IsraJets, a global private aviation company founded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has taken a significant step forward by entering aircraft operations.

The milestone comes with the launch of IsraFly, its newly established operating division, and the acquisition of its first aircraft - a Hawker 800XPi. Serving more than 300 clients worldwide, the company now strengthens its global charter services by combining its established brokerage expertise with direct operational oversight and enhanced control over flight execution.

This strategic development follows IsraJets’ acquisition of an FAA Part 135 operating certificate, positioning the company as both a charter brokerage and a certified aircraft operator. The move signals a deliberate shift toward a more comprehensive and accountable business model within the private aviation sector.

Taking responsibility for every flight

Alex MilhemFor founder Alex Milhem, the transition into operations reflects a commitment to greater responsibility rather than mere expansion. By operating flights directly, the company aims to ensure the highest standards of safety, service, and reliability.

“Arranging flights is one thing,” Milhem explained. “Operating them is where the real responsibility begins. If you want to stand fully behind the experience you deliver, you need to take ownership of how those flights are operated.”

Operating under a Part 135 certificate requires rigorous oversight, including strict regulatory compliance, safety management systems, crew coordination, and maintenance planning. While many charter firms focus solely on brokerage services, relatively few choose to build in-house operational capabilities.

“This is the harder road,” Milhem added. “But it’s the right one if you’re building something meant to last.”

Turning vision into reality

The launch of IsraFly laid the groundwork for this evolution, and the acquisition of a Hawker 800XPi brings that vision to life. Known for its reliability, performance, and comfortable midsize cabin, the aircraft will support both charter flights and aircraft management services under IsraFly’s operation.

“An operator certificate is the structure,” Milhem noted. “The aircraft is when the vision becomes real.”

Rather than pursuing rapid expansion, IsraJets intends to grow its fleet strategically, prioritizing safety, consistency, and long-term stability.

Building a vertically integrated aviation platform

With IsraJets continuing to provide global charter brokerage and IsraFly serving as its operational backbone, the company is developing a vertically integrated aviation platform designed to enhance accountability and oversight across every stage of the flight experience.

“Ownership changes how you approach every decision,” Milhem said. “It’s not about growth for the sake of growth. It’s about building a platform where safety, accountability, and consistency are built into the structure.”

As IsraFly begins operations and its first aircraft enters service, IsraJets plans to expand its managed fleet while refining its systems. In aviation, every aircraft tells a story - and for IsraFly, the Hawker 800XPi represents the opening chapter of a new era, where vision has truly taken flight.
