Vantage Aviation expands FBO network with addition of
Pittsburgh Allegheny County

Vantage Aviation has expanded its fixed-base operation network with the acquisition of Corporate Air’s former facility at Allegheny County Airport (AGC), extending its service footprint into western Pennsylvania.

The AGC location, which serves Pittsburgh and surrounding communities, becomes the sixth FBO in the Vantage Aviation network since the company launched in fall 2024.

“The acquisition of the Corporate Air FBO at Allegheny County Airport represents an important milestone for Vantage Aviation,” said CEO Ryan Maxfield. “AGC is a critical business aviation airport, and this transaction allows us to strengthen our presence in a market with sustained demand from corporate, charter, and owner-flown operators.”

Located closest to downtown Pittsburgh, the AGC facility offers ramp space capable of accommodating ultra-long-range business jets. The 24-hour operation includes 110,000 square feet of hangar space, an 11,600-square-foot FBO terminal, and more than 24,000 square feet of office space.

The AGC location joins Vantage Aviation FBOs in Duluth, MN; Greenville, SC; Richmond, VA and one being constructed in Rifle, CO, coming online later this year.

In addition to FBO services, Vantage Aviation provides aircraft management and charter operations at AGC and plans to begin renovations at the facility later this year. The company acquired the assets of Corporate Air following the operator’s bankruptcy filing in 2025.

“This transaction enhances our ability to support based aircraft, transient charter traffic, and managed fleets with a seamless customer experience,” Maxfield added. “Allegheny County Airport continues to play a vital role in the region’s business aviation activity, and we’re excited to contribute to its continued growth.”

The AGC facility - expected to see heightened demand during Pittsburgh’s hosting of the NFL Draft this spring - joins Vantage Aviation locations in Duluth, Minnesota; Greenville, South Carolina; Richmond, Virginia; and Rifle, Colorado, where a new FBO is currently under construction and scheduled to open later this year.
