The International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) capped a milestone year in 2025, driven by strong preowned aircraft transactions, improving market confidence, and continued investment in the future of business aviation.
Through market intelligence, strategic partnerships, leadership appointments, and philanthropic initiatives, IADA reinforced its role as a leading voice in the global aircraft resale community.
“Throughout 2025, IADA released a full slate of quarterly market reports and a comprehensive Market Portrait & Forecast, documenting tightening inventories, resilient demand and a sharp rise in optimism heading into year-end,” said IADA Chair John Odegard, Partner and Co-Founder of 5x5 Trading.
He said the reports highlighted IADA members’ ability to navigate shifting conditions as new aircraft deliveries increased and buyer expectations evolved.

IADA also named new boards for both the association and the IADA Foundation, while continuing to elevate industry thought leadership through commentary, webinars, and collaboration with aviation partners.
Through the IADA Foundation, the organization expanded its educational and philanthropic impact by awarding scholarships and grants, launching new innovation initiatives, and supporting STEM programs aimed at inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals.
