This category recognises the achievements of outstanding next-gen professionals who have made a significant impact in their business aviation role. Hugo accepted the accolade from Aoife O’Sullivan, BBGA Chair and Partner, Keystone Law, at BBGA’s 2025 Christmas Networking Event.

Hugo joined Victor in 2022 as Commercial Jet Associate, progressing to Group Charter Senior Associate in 2024 and then Group Charter Executive in July. Hugo has embraced aviation sustainability and consistently champions Victor’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) offering, educating clients that each purchase can reduce lifecycle carbon emissions by up to 80%, compared with fossil jet fuel.

Toby Edwards, Co-CEO Fly Victor commented: “Since joining Victor, Hugo has stood out, not only for his results but for his mindset - one defined by energy, curiosity, and a belief that aviation can and should operate with greater purpose and transparency. At just 26 years old Hugo continues to show composure and maturity beyond his years when managing some of Victor’s most complex charter missions, with clients valuing his consistently high standards of service. His professionalism, ambition, and leadership mark him out as one of the industry’s most promising young talents and we are delighted to see him recognised as a true representative of aviation’s next generation.”

BBGA Chair Aoife O’Sullivan commented: “Many congratulations to Hugo on this award. He has a bright future in business aviation and we wish him every success.”

She also endorsed other exceptionally talented, highly commended nominees in this category:

BBGA is most proud to promote careers in aviation, highlighted in its #BizavEnables social media campaign, membership of CLIMBING.FAST and through its collaboration with Stansted Airport College and support of the Aviation Skills Recruitment Platform (ASRP)/TalentView Aviation (TVA).
