Waco, TexasFreeman Holdings acquires Waco, Texas, FBO |
Freeman Holdings Group has announced the acquisition of Texas Aero at Waco Regional Airport (KACT), marking another strategic expansion of its growing national network of premium fixed-base operator facilities.
The purchase, effective October 30th, includes Texas Aero’s full-service FBO - to be rebranded as Freeman Jet Center-Waco - while Texas Aero Jet Sales will continue to operate independently under existing ownership.
With this acquisition, Freeman Holdings Group’s FBO portfolio expands to 24 locations, enhancing its footprint across the state of Texas following additions in Lubbock and Abilene in early 2025.

Scott Freeman, CEO of Freeman Holdings Group, said, “We enthusiastically welcome the Texas Aero team into the Freeman Holdings Group family. Texas Aero has built a strong reputation in the Waco aviation community for its service excellence and customer focus. By adding this established location to our network, we continue our commitment to providing outstanding FBO experiences across the Lone Star State and beyond.”

Under Freeman Holdings Group ownership, Freeman Jet Center-Waco will retain Texas Aero FBO’s experienced staff, ensuring continuity of service for its valued customers. The facility will soon see the addition of new, modern equipment to further elevate operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. In alignment with Freeman Holdings’ forward-looking infrastructure plans, a new hangar is also in development to expand the location’s capacity for based and transient aircraft.
As part of the Avfuel Network, Freeman Jet Center-Waco will continue offering customers the benefits of AVTRIP pilot loyalty rewards, competitive fuel prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel, and transaction ease with Avfuel Pro Card acceptance - allowing pilots and operators to conveniently bundle fuel and non-fuel purchases into one seamless payment.
