Regional Performance Analysis

North America: Part 91K and 135 operations show exceptional strength
The North American market recorded 15% year-on-year growth in Week 37, with total departures reaching 55,566. The U.S. mirrored this trend with 15% growth and 53,494 flights. Among key states, Texas led with 15% year-on-year growth, while California and
Florida trailed slightly with 13% and 6% growth, respectively. Part 91K and 135 trends outperformed the broader market, with both North America overall and the United States reaching 17% more activity compared to W37 2024 Part 91K and 135 activity levels.

Europe: Modest 2% growth as Italy outperforms
The European market significantly underperformed the global growth trend in Week 37, flights rising only 2% compared to the same week in 2024. The highlight in Europe was Italy performing in line with the global trend, tallying 15% more flights than in W37 last year. Both the UK and Switzerland reached 4% growth, while Germany and France weighed down Europe’s growth with 4% and 2% retractions, respectively. Over the last four weeks, European activity has totaled just over 50,000 flights, reflecting only modest 2% growth.

Rest of the World: South America and Africa drive double-digit gains
Week 37 trends varied across the regions outside of North America and Europe. South America led growth, outperforming mature markets with 21% higher traffic levels yearover-year. Africa followed closely behind with 17% growth, while the Middle East realized 7% gains. Asia was the standout ROW region that saw year-over-year declines, posting 6% less flights compared to Week 37 2024.

Current Events Analysis

Canelo vs Crawford boosts Las Vegas traffic 46%
The highly anticipated boxing match between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford at Allegiant Stadium on 13th September demonstrated Las Vegas's continued appeal as a premium sporting destination for business aviation.

Crawford's victory over Canelo to claim the undisputed super middleweight title made boxing history, as the four-division world champion became the first men's fighter in the four-belt era (since 2007) to achieve undisputed status in three weight classes - junior welterweight, welterweight, and super middleweight. While Las Vegas regularly attracts business jet traffic from high-net-worth travelers, historic championship bouts like this generate significantly elevated activity levels beyond typical patterns. Las Vegas airports recorded 640 business jet movements during the 12-14 September weekend, representing a 46% increase compared to the same dates in 2024.

This surge becomes more pronounced when compared to the average 419 flights typically seen during Las Vegas weekend periods in 2025, highlighting how marquee sporting events continue to drive substantial incremental demand in the business aviation market.

Managing Direcror Richard Koe comments: “Week 37's 12% growth is the strongest we've seen all year, driven largely by North America's exceptional 15% surge.

"The Crawford-Canelo fight in Las Vegas shows how historic sporting events continue to be major traffic drivers.

"With Q3 activity up over 5%, the momentum heading into the fall season looks very solid.”
