We call it the ‘nap plane,’ says Vincent Beauvarlet - Président, St Barth Executive. He is referring to the operator’s new Tecnam P2012 Travellers, two of which have logged over 1,000 hours’ flying serving Guadeloupe and clearly proving a hit with passengers.
Passengers were tired of the Islander, said Vincent, noting passengers board and promptly fall asleep on the 50-minute route. They tell us it’s even sexier than the PC-12.

The Caribbean operator, which has only been operating regular scheduled services for a year, complementing its on demand executive charter services, is launch customer of the P2012 (STOL) version. It’s now running six flights daily to Guadeloupe under a new Air Inter Iles brand, complementing its PC-12 NGX fleet. It also intends to introduce the Tecnam P2012 to San Juan when the third aircraft arrives.
St Barth Executive was proud to show off the aircraft at an FBO event for CARIBAVIA and guests on the last day of CARIBAVIA joining Tecnam’s Francesco Sferra who gave guests a full run down of the aircraft’s characteristices We can’t wait to fly the aircraft as one of two all new design commuterliners.
Authorised Service Centre contract
During CARIBAVIA Tecnam announced St Barth Executive’s appointment as Authorized Service Center for the Tecnam P2012 series. It will provide MRO, technical support, and parts throughout the Caribbean region and across the Americas. The agreement will support operators across the region with prompt, expert service and reduced downtime.
“Over the past years, we have made significant investments in our two maintenance facilities, in Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin, equipping them with state-of-the-art tooling, extensive spare parts stock, and highly qualified teams. We can parts, tools, and technicians anywhere in the region in under an hour to support P2012 operators, ” Vincent said.
