CARIBAVIA 2025 Summit & Retreat to convene global aviation and tourism leaders in St. Barth

The CARIBAVIA Summit & Retreat, the premier conference bridging the worlds of aviation, tourism, business development, and investment in the Caribbean, returns June 10–12, 2025, on the picturesque island of St. Barth.

Recognized as the most airlift-dependent region in the world, the Caribbean relies heavily on air transportation to fuel economic growth, tourism, and connectivity. CARIBAVIA has become the essential platform for stakeholders across the public and private sectors to address shared challenges, explore new opportunities, and foster innovation in air travel and regional development.

Now in its latest edition, CARIBAVIA will once again bring together senior government officials, including several Caribbean Ministers, alongside aviation professionals, business leaders, and thought leaders from across the globe. Attendees can expect a dynamic format emphasizing impactful individual presentations and direct engagement with the audience.

“I am not fond of sessions with panel members sitting on couches or comfortable seats on stage talking to each other and diplomatically exchanging opinions,” said CARIBAVIA Chairman Cdr. Bud Slabbaert.

“I prefer individual speakers addressing the attendees, making a point, and willing to interact with the professionals in the audience. And note that we stand for more core and less mass.”

This year several Ministers will make individual presentations on topics related to airports and aviation and engage with business leaders in discussions around the event.

Topics range from the use of AI in aviation, eVTOL, liberalization of Caribbean skies, Inter-island relations, airport development, the importance of facts and data, to establishing an International Aviation Academy of higher learning in the Caribbean.

CARIBAVIA serves as a catalyst for progress and innovation in a region where airlift is not just a convenience, but a lifeline.

BlueSky News will be represented on location with a dedicated team of reporters from 'The Emerald Network', providing comprehensive coverage of the event.

A special CARIBAVIA edition of BlueSky will be published post-event.
