Avflight expands footprint with 26th FBO in Hattiesburg, Mississippi



Avflight Corporation has announced the acquisition of its 26th FBO, Avflight Hattiesburg, at Mississippi’s Hattiesburg/Laurel Regional Airport (KPIB).

Effective March 19th, Avflight acquired US Aviation FBO Services, including its 4,000-square-foot FBO terminal and 125,000 square feet of hangar space.

The FBO terminal is equipped with all the amenities modern travel requires, including comfortable passenger and pilot lounges, and catering capabilities. Furthermore, Avflight’s acquired hangar capacity includes 18 units with the ability to accommodate aircraft up to a Gulfstream G550.

Avflight Hattiesburg is conveniently positioned in close proximity to the city’s new FedEx sorting facility, providing an opportunity for Avflight to assist the region’s cargo operations with their unique handling needs.

In addition, Avflight looks forward to handling a diverse array of customers at its new location, including sports charter operators, military operations and traffic flying in for local business. The Hattiesburg area boasts a vibrant cultural scene, historical landmarks and thriving businesses, making it an ideal destination for travelers.
