Spanish Fork, UtahGroundbreaking of $100m Patey Aviation Business Park marks major milestone |
Patey Aviation, in collaboration with Spanish Fork City, UT, has announced the groundbreaking for the highly-anticipated Patey Aviation Business Park. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, February 28th at the Spanish Fork Airport.
The Patey Aviation Business Park will be a significant leap forward for both the Spanish Fork Airport and private aviation enthusiasts alike. This represents a $60m first phase development of an overall $100m total project at the airport. Boasting a prime location and an array of amenities, this park is set to firmly establish the Spanish Fork Airport as a premier destination for private pilots.
"We're so grateful and excited for this investment to the Spanish Fork Airport and what will come from the efforts of this group and others," City Manager Seth Perrins said. "We are going to have the greatest general aviation airport in the country."
This state-of-the-art aviation hub will feature 66 hangars, ranging in price from $350k to $3.5m, catering to the diverse needs of private pilots. With sizes ranging from 2,200 square feet to 21,000 square feet, these hangars offer ample space and flexibility to accommodate various aircraft types.
One of the key features of the Patey Aviation Business Park is its emphasis on community and collaboration. Each hangar provides access to either a private suite or shared common suite, fostering opportunities for hangar owners to connect, collaborate, and share resources. A public restaurant is planned where anyone is invited to dine at the airport with a clear view of planes landing and taking off.
The Spanish Fork Airport/Woodhouse Field (KSPK) is the fourth busiest general aviation airport in the State of Utah with over 90,000 annual operations, 300+ based aircraft and 133 hangars.
The Patey Aviation Business Park represents a bold step forward for private aviation in Spanish Fork and underscores the commitment to innovation and excellence that defines both Patey Aviation and the Spanish Fork community.
