Fort Worth, TexasTrimec Aviation receives STC for Falcon 2000/EX with Universal Avionics InSight Flight Display upgradeThree options provided to Operators |
Trimec Aviation, a certified FAA Part 145 Repair Station, has received its Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Falcon 2000 and 2000EX with Universal Avionics InSight Flight Display System, replacing the Pro Line 4.
It includes Universal’s SBAS-Flight Management Systems, and UniLink Communications Management system, supporting RNP 0.3 instrument approaches, and CPDLC, digital clearances, FANS 1/A+, ATN B1, and push to load flight planning (from the ground).
Trimec is taking immediate reservations for this exceptional upgrade and offers customers three options. The complete cockpit solution with the CPDLC and FANS 1/A+ and ATN B1 solution is the primary option. Customers may alternatively choose to upgrade the cockpit only or choose only the CPDLC/FANS upgrade option.
Mike Rabadi, Trimec Aviation President and CEO, said, “It is exciting to see this STC come to fruition, and I thank our entire Fort Worth technical team and our Universal partners for taking us to the STC finish line.”
John Holland, Trimec Aviation General Manager, said, “We stand ready to work with Falcon 2000/EX operators to provide this efficient solution as they face irreplaceable CDUs and FMS for the existing Pro Line 4 cockpit.
"This upgrade is a great way to extend the Falcon 2000’s operating efficiency, increase its available payload, and enhance pilot safety.”
Dror Yahav, Universal Avionics CEO, said, “We are thrilled to deliver a modern, sustainable solution for the Falcon 2000/EX in partnership with Trimec Aviation. The InSight Display System has achieved certification on a variety of business jets, upgrading them to the latest available operational capabilities and significantly extending the aircraft’s longevity for years to come.”
