The Women in Corporate
Aviation (WCA) association announces that it is accepting member
applications for nearly $50,000 in aviation scholarships. The
scholarships can be used for leadership development, training and
certification purposes. The deadline to apply is August 15th.
“We encourage any
member - whether a pilot, maintenance technician, flight attendant
or aspiring aviation leader - to apply for a scholarship,” said WCA
President Cindy Youngblood.
“There is a wide variety of training opportunities available for
nearly any role within the business aviation industry.”
The following
corporate aviation scholarships and their sponsors include:
- Air Training International
Flight Procedures Training Scholarship ($1,700)
- AirFlite, a subsidiary of
Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., Maintenance Training Scholarship
($3,000)
- AirFlite, a subsidiary of
Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., Pilot Training Scholarship
($3,000)
- CAE Citation 500 Series
Aircraft Type Rating Scholarship ($22,000)
- Executive Jet Management
Training Scholarship ($2,000)

Applications are due
August 15th and scholarship recipients will be notified on September
5th. The scholarship awards ceremony will be held on October 11th,
during the 71st Annual NBAA Business Aviation Convention and
Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada.
