| Weston Aviation has opened its new Business Aviation Centre and FBO at Cork Airport.
The new Centre - Weston Aviation's first in Ireland and the fifth location to be added to its European network - features 10,000 sq. ft of hangar and office space capable of accommodating aircraft up to super mid-size jets and also has direct private ramp access. In addition, the facility will offer superior passenger and crew facilities as well as offering competitive hangarage and fuel pricing.
In charge of the operation as Managing Director Ireland is
Helene
Wall-Horan. Helene brings with her 17 years’ experience in business aviation and will be responsible for overseeing the Irish operation.
Heading up the FBO team as Station Manager is
Paul Daly, who has 12 years’ experience at Cork Airport; five of those co-ordinating the executive ground handling team for
Servisair/Swissport.
| As the only purpose-built FBO facility at Cork, Weston Aviation is excited at the prospect of attracting more dedicated business aviation flights to service the large amount of industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, ICT, biotechnology, professional and international financial services, all of which have facilities in the Cork area.
