Red Aviation acquires DFW Instrument LLC
Continues Expansion of Services in North Texas
Red Aviation, a leading provider of parts and services for Global, Challenger, Lear, and Gulfstream aircraft, recently announced the acquisition of DFW Instrument, LLC in Addison, Texas.

Dedicated to high-quality workmanship, DFW Instrument has provided flight critical instrument and equipment repairs to the industry for 25 years. DFW Instrument’s expertise consists of a wide range of Air Data Equipment, Engine Instruments, Flight Directors, Horizon Situation Indicators, Gyroscopes and repair of other products. In addition, their Avionics Line Service support team manages aircraft maintenance requirements for General Aviation, Corporate Operators, and Government/Military Agencies.

The Red Aviation Repair Group supports a full-service Part 145 FAA/EASA certified repair facility (#8CHR492B/145.6271) in Georgetown, Texas with unlimited capabilities for airframe and powerplant. This outstanding accomplishment combines with Red Aviation’s AS 9120A / ISO 9001:2008 certified quality system to demonstrate the deep commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

Red Aviation expanded its engines services in 2008 with the addition of the Turbine Jet Specialties (TJS) division, based in Granbury, Texas. TJS has its own FAA/EASA repair station certification and has capabilities to disassemble, inspect, repair and provide modifications for the Honeywell ALF/LF500 series engines or individual modules.
