Total AOC's Centrik Xchange delivers free information sharing for operators

Total AOC has launched a new service designed to make it easy for operators to exchange safety and compliance/quality information to improve their own practices.

Centrik Xchange, based on Total AOC’s innovative cloud-based management software, Centrik, provides a central database that can be accessed easily by any operator.

The safety database is free of charge to access. Operators can publish their air safety reports, hazards, incidents, standing hazards as well as their risk assessments. These will be anonymised but available for viewing or even incorporation as a template into the user’s own Centrik system.

Centrik users additionally get exclusive access to the Centrik Xchange quality database. Operators can submit and share quality information, in particular training provider and supplier audits, to lower their costs and help them make ad-hoc flight decisions more quickly. By sharing information, users can easily view audits on ground handling providers to assess their suitability quickly and effectively. This eliminates the challenge created when operators have to audit ad-hoc providers at short notice and helps avoid potential non-conformances being raised by the CAA. FBOs will also be able to host their compliance/quality audits in one place to avoid filling in multiple audits.

Allan McGreal, CEO of Rizon Jet, the London Biggin Hill based multiple award winning integrated FBO and MRO facility is already making use of Centrik Xchange’s audit information sharing capabilities to streamline operations. He says: “Centrik Xchange is a remarkable tool, and Rizon Jet is really excited about being part of the spearhead group bringing it to the industry. It captures safety related information which can be shared with any enquirer, and our audit criteria can be answered from one central location. That makes life incredibly easy for ourselves, but also much more user-friendly for those enquiring about our business.”

Julian Tubb, Director, Total AOC, says: “Sharing information is critical for operators as it means everyone can learn from each other and improve their practices. Built on the foundations of Centrik, which has transformed management operations for operators and airports alike, Centrik Xchange provides a freely accessible central space that supports operators in their safety management.”

Tubb adds: “Centrik users will also benefit from this enhanced service that incorporates quality information at no extra cost. Centrik Xchange is a critical tool for improving safety and quality across the industry and by standardising the process, we’re making it easier for operators to boost their performance and cut their costs.”
