FBO Riga Business Aviation Center scheduled for August 2015 opening

Flight Consulting Group, the Latvian business aviation holding, is proceeding to the final construction stage of the new state-of-art FBO RIGA Business Aviation Center at Riga International Airport.

The new business aviation center will meet the highest safety and quality standards and will be one of the biggest FBO facilities in EU and the Baltics. The grand opening is set for August 2015.

The Center comprises a state-of-art business passenger Terminal (1 200 sq.m) and a heated hangar (8 400 sq.m) with offices, separate storage and workshops areas. The hangar specially designed for aircraft parking has the capacity up to five Boeing Business Jets or nine Gulfstream-550s. Flight Consulting Group is also planning to launch MRO services including aircraft cleaning at the new FBO facility.

The FBO RIGA terminal will meet the highest standards of passenger handling as well as used for international meetings, presentations and VIP events. There will be six comfortable sitting areas, two fully equipped VIP conference rooms, a lounge bar and a multi-brand boutique in the terminal. Concierge service and luxury transfers are also at passengers’ disposal. The ramp and helicopter pad are located just at 10 m from the terminal. A special area for crew will also be available in the terminal building.
