Delta Private Jets continues fleet expansion
Latest additions include four Ownership Assist aircraft

Delta Private Jets (DPJ) continues to expand its fleet of managed aircraft with the addition of five aircraft.

The most recent additions include two newly refurbished midsize Citation Excels, a Hawker 800XP and two Citation CJ2 light jets. The aircraft join DPJ’s floating fleet and are well-appointed with the latest amenities including Wi-Fi.

“The introduction of Ownership Assist has given us even more opportunity to expand our fleet, said John Daly, Chief Operating Officer. “This unique program has proven to be very popular with owners as it helps them take advantage of the current favorable economic environment for purchasing a large capital asset such as an aircraft, by immediately offsetting a good portion of the cost.”

Ownership Assist is designed for owners who require only occasional use of their aircraft, and are looking for guaranteed monthly revenue to cover financing costs. The aircraft that enter the fleet via Ownership Assist become part of the DPJ floating fleet of managed aircraft. Currently, Ownership Assist is available for Cessna Citation CJ2 Series, Citation CJ3, Citation Excel Series, Citation X and Citation Sovereign aircraft. In addition to the three aircraft just added, DPJ has received signed agreements for four other Ownership Assist aircraft.

DPJ’s fleet has grown by over 40 percent since the beginning of the year, and is on track for 60 aircraft on its certificate by next month. This makes DPJ the third largest Part 135 Operator in the country. The company has also seen record growth this year in its Jet Card program and its customer base, which is over 2,200 customers. For November, Jet Card sales were up 42% over 2013.

The company operates the only FBO, the Delta Jet Center, at the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, as well as a comprehensive MRO facility.
