BGAD to alternate annually between Biggin Hill and Cambridge
New dates set for 2015 and 2016
A new arrangement has been forged by the organiser of the annual Business & General Aviation Day (BGAD) under which the one-day exhibition and seminar will alternate annually between London Biggin Hill and Cambridge airports.

Dates for the next two years have now been confirmed:

  • 11th BGAD – Tuesday 15th September 2015 at London Biggin Hill.
  • 12th BGAD – Tuesday 13th September 2016 at Cambridge.

BGAD organiser Mark Ranger at EBAN magazine says that the plan will contribute variation and freshness to the event that has realised increasing popularity over the 10 years to date.

“BGAD has become well established as a key date in the industry’s autumn calendar and we anticipate that the new plan for alternating venues will stimulate visitor attention and accelerate attendance levels” says Ranger.

Robert Walters, Business Development Director at Biggin Hill Airport, warmly welcomes the opportunity to host the 2015 BGAD.

“Visitors to BGAD join the day to network and enjoy spirited seminars on interesting subjects as well as the exhibition that showcases the latest aircraft and equipment. It is also a valuable opportunity for visitors to see the significant investment in new facilities at Biggin Hill and, in conjunction with our business partners, to show them the extensive range of services now available here” he said.

“The BGAD date next year coincides with the 75th anniversary weekend of the Battle of Britain. We shall be asking the Heritage Hangar to showcase their impressive range of Hurricanes and Spitfires that are either maintained here or are under restoration” says Mr Walters.

Programme details and pre-registration arrangements will be announced early in the New Year. The event is open to all professionals in business and general aviation and is free to atten  with pre-registration. Updates will feature in BlueSky and on the BGAD website: www.bgad.aero
