BACA welcomes two new Council Members
Bernhard Fragner and Richard Mumford join the BACA Council
Bernhard Fragner of GlobeAir and Richard Mumford of Stevens & Bolton have been elected to join the Council of the Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA). The elections were made during a recent meeting of the BACA Council at the Baltic Exchange in London.
Bernhard Fragner, the Founder and CEO of GlobeAir AG, is driven by his personal mantra 'Passion into Profession'. An avid aviator, Bernhard is a strong believer in revolutionizing short-haul travel by applying an air taxi business model, maximising aircraft utilization and building strong IT support with the main focus on customer service.

GlobeAir, which is headquartered in Austria, was one of the first operators in the air taxi business. Since 2011 GlobeAir has operated the world's largest homogeneous fleet of Cessna Citation Mustangs, currently the fleet consists of 11 aircraft with plans in place to increase to 15 aircraft in 2015.

Speaking about his new role on the BACA Council Bernhard advises "BACA is the most historic association in our industry. Coming from the continent there is a strong mandate for me to support the council and grow the organisation throughout Europe. Personally I am motivated to promote the integrity, standards and ethical practices of BACA and deliver those values clearly to the Membership."

Richard Mumford's legal expertise will make a valuable contribution to BACA Council meetings. Richard has a keen interest in aviation and his return to private practice 11 years ago allowed him the chance to combine aviation and law. Richard has extensive experience in aviation, heading the aviation team at Stevens & Bolton in Guildford. Richard's practice is broad, working with clients across the aviation market including cargo and passenger airlines, lessors, operators, charter brokers, MROs, banks and suppliers. Richard also has experience of advising in relation to membership organisations and in other broking markets.

Richard comments on his new role on the BACA Council "These are exciting times for air charter. Service delivery is being driven by technological, political and socio-economic development. BACA is the leading global members' organisation and has a unique opportunity to drive the market into the future. I am delighted to be afforded the opportunity to use my experience to the benefit of BACA and its members."

BACA Chairman Tony Coe added "We are delighted to welcome Bernhard and Richard to the BACA Council. I am sure their contributions to the work carried out by BACA will be very valuable and bring a different slant to the expertise we have already."
