BGAD to move to Biggin Hill in June 2015
The highly successful Business & General Aviation Day is on the move. The 11th BGAD is to be staged at London Biggin Hill Airport as a one-day event on Tuesday 23rd June 2015, the organisation to continue in the hands of European Business Aviation News (EBAN), the original founders.

Paying tribute to the increasing success of the event at Cambridge Airport over a 10-year period, Robert Walters, Business Development Director at Biggin Hill, said that EBAN and Cambridge had established an enviable reputation for delivering an effective exhibition and networking event for the industry.

James Dillon-Godfray, VP Business Development, Marshall Aviation Services; Mark Ranger, Advertising Manager, EBAN and Robert Walters, Business Development Director, Biggin Hill Airport Ltd mark the 10th anniversary of BGAD at Cambridge Airport and preview the planned move to London Biggin Hill Airport set for 23rd June 2015.

“We warmly welcome the opportunity offered to us to host this key business aviation exhibition and seminar at Biggin Hill and will aim to build on the significant success and admirable reputation that it now holds within the business and general aviation community” he says.

“In particular, we shall provide a strong focus on building awareness and encouraging acceptance of the vital - but different - role that business aviation provides in delivering success for UK plc” says Mr Walters. “We also welcome the opportunity to showcase the significant investment and new facilities and services that Biggin Hill now offers and we shall do this in conjunction with our business partners.”

The airport continues to work closely with the London Borough of Bromley to achieve a balanced approach to development within the new Local Plan and with City Hall as a Strategic Outer London Development Centre. In line with the Government’s Aviation Policy Framework, airport policy continues to show respect for the local community, developing new jobs for local people and minimising noise impact within the local environment.
