Synergy Flight Center partners with Avfuel to establish fueling operation at BMI

Synergy Flight Center at Central Illinois Regional Airport at Bloomington-Normal (BMI), well-known for maintenance, has invested in improving the FBO facilities, hangars, and ramp space.

Last March, the FBO gained approval to sell fuel at the airport, and has since joined the Avfuel Branded FBO Network to offer Avfuel Contract Fuel and AVTRIP Rewards.

Led by owner/CEO Andrew Dustman, Synergy Flight Center began as a flight school and maintenance operation. Dustman, an ATP-certified pilot and CFI, CFII, and MEI-qualified flight instructor, said the business allows him to pursue his passion for aviation while providing opportunities for the Central Illinois pilot community. By adding fuel and FBO services, Synergy Flight Center is able to broaden those opportunities and provide the highest levels of service to both local and visiting pilots. Choosing an experienced, reliable fuel supplier was a high priority:

“As a new fuel provider, we relied on Avfuel’s expertise as we established the fueling side of our business,” said Dustman. “Their training and support regarding delivery, dispensing, storage, and handling of fuel, as well as their equipment and equipment support, has been invaluable.”

Synergy Flight Center's newly-remodeled facility at Bloomington includes a 20,000 square-foot hangar and a full-service FBO open 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., seven days a week.

Avfuel values the addition of Synergy Flight Center to its branded dealer network. “We’ve seen the effort and investment that Synergy Flight has put in to upgrading and constructing their facility,” said Marci Ammerman, Avfuel Vice President, Marketing. “Avfuel appreciates the dedication and commitment to the pilot community, and we have no doubt that guests will be treated to a first-rate experience.”
