New FBO for Cork Airport
A new FBO opens today (Thursday 7th) at Cork Airport (EICK).

The new company, EVS Aviation, brings together almost 40 years of experience within the aviation industry, led by Peter Costelloe and Michael Ryan, who will provide the aviation expertise and knowledge base required to deliver cutting-edge ground handling services for GA and position the company for long term sustainable growth.

Said Peter Costelloe, Director at EVS Aviation: “Cork Airport has experienced a revitalisation over the last few years and EVS Aviation is delighted to work with the airport authority to develop the GA offering here.

“The South-West region has a very strong multi-national presence, with global brands specializing in areas such as ICT, Biopharma/Pharma and Medical Technologies. This, together with the region’s enormous popularity as an international tourism destination, has resulted in a growing market for GA services in the region, a market EVS Aviation intends to satisfy.”

Niall MacCarthy, Managing Director at Cork Airport, commenting on the new ground handling company said: “The startup of EVS Aviation at Cork Airport is to be welcomed as a vote of confidence in the potential to grow business and executive jet aviation in Cork. We welcome their arrival to increase competition, choice and traffic in this area. We wish EVS Aviation every success and we are confident that this new venture will be a fantastic addition to the Airport’s aeronautical portfolio,” he added.

Based in a bespoke facility adjacent to the main terminal, with crew and VIP lounges, EVS Aviation will ensure a streamlined service to its clients. Through its long established relationships with fuel retailers it will also provide extremely competitive Jet A-1 fuel prices for both destination and fuel stop traffic.
