Hawker Pacific's best show yet at Singapore Airshow 2014

Hawker Pacific, the leading aircraft sales and product support company in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East, is celebrating the two-year anniversary of its state-of-the-art facility at Seletar Aerospace Park, Singapore with a strong presence at the Singapore Airshow 2014.

With the Seletar facility exceeding expectations since its 2012 launch, Hawker Pacific is looking to this year’s Airshow to showcase its diverse portfolio of services and present a number of aircraft on static display including a GippsAero GA8 Airvan, a Beechcraft King Air 250 and a Special Mission Beechcraft King Air 350ER. Hawker Pacific will be located at Chalet CD31 and 32, directly opposite the Display.

Alan Smith, Hawker Pacific’s Chief Executive Officer said: “We are proud to have served the Asia Pacific region for many years and I’m pleased to confirm that 2013 was our biggest year to date in Singapore, which is our hub in South East Asia.”

“We have been working incredibly hard to ensure we continue anticipating the needs of the emerging markets in Asia, with a significant investment in our service centre capacity, world class aircraft painting facility and FBO servicing customers in both Seletar and Changi airports, and our efforts are paying off.”

“The establishment of our dedicated aircraft management service to meet the needs of our customers, plus our large cabin long-range corporate jet brokerage businesses, and the ongoing development of our Asia network have underpinned our success here and we’re looking forward to showcasing our growth in, and commitment to, Asia Pacific aviation at the Airshow.”

Tony Jones, Chief Operating Officer, Hawker Pacific Asia said the Singapore Airshow is the perfect place for the Company to demonstrate its confidence in the long-term potential for the business aircraft industry in the region.

"We have busy program of events, a fantastic line-up of aircraft and participation of our key partners and principals. We will also be making a number of exciting announcements. We’re looking forward to the networking opportunities and the chance to welcome all participants who visit us at the show.”

The arrival of the GA8 Airvan and KA250 to Hawker Pacific’s static display at the Airshow is particularly well-timed with both aircraft currently on regional demonstration tours. The GA8 Airvan is the 200th of the iconic aircraft to be built, cementing the model’s position as the highest-production, Australian-designed and manufactured aircraft in history.

Meanwhile the King Air family is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its first flight this month. The KA250 which will be on display is the first to tour the Asia-Pacific region and is the latest evolution in the King Air range. The KA350ER, also on display, has ‘extended range’ through the addition of nautical fuel tanks, an increase in gross weight and heavy-weight landing gear, making it the perfect aircraft for a wide variety of military and civilian special missions.

The 2014 Singapore at the Changi Exhibition Centre runs from 11 - 16 February 2014. Senior Hawker Pacific representatives at the event will include Alan Smith, Chief Executive Officer, Hawker Pacific Group and Tony Jones, Chief Operating Officer, Asia Region.
